The E2O Outdoorsman was designed for outdoor enthusiasts requiring a long running, high performance hand-held light that will out perform any other light in its category. Only 4.5 inches long and weighing just 3.2 ounces, the E2O Outdoorsman uses two lithium batteries (10-year shelf life) and a proprietary lamp/reflector design to produce 25 lumens of light--brighter than a much larger two D-cell flashlight--with 2.5 hours of runtime.

The E2O Outdoorsman is CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in a MilSpec (military specification) Type III hard-anodized process that is corrosion-proof and so hard that the knurled portion of the E2O Outdoorsman's handle can be used to saw through lesser aluminum flashlights.

The E2O Outdoorsman features an upgraded steel pocket clip that accepts an optional wrist lanyard and is longer than the standard Executive series clip. The light also incorporates a unique method of switching originally developed for law enforcement-twist for constant on, or depress the tailcap for momentary illumination or emergency signaling. A patented lock-out tailcap feature allows the tailcap switch to be locked in the off position to eliminate the possibility of depleting the batteries by inadvertently activating the light in a backpack or fanny pack.

SureFire red and blue beam filters also fit on the Outdoorsman. The red filter is for hunters who want to avoid spooking game during pre-dawn hours--deer see poorly in the red color spectrum. Blue filters make a blood trail easier to find, as blood viewed under blue light stands out distinctly from foliage and undercover.
