Naked Army's cold-cast bronze figurine is based on gear worn by F/LT Edward 'Teddy' Hall, while a flight leader posted with 452 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF, Darwin 1943. A veteran of the Battle of Britain and two bail-outs, PO Hall wears goggles, boots and gloves from his previous posting with the RAF, combined with airtex helmet, khaki drill tropical issue shirt and 'Bombay Bloomer' shorts, well suited to conditions in the tropics.A 'seat pack' parachute harness and mid-war pattern 41 Mae West life vest complete the figurine.
