The PLMRS (Platypus Light Modular Recovery System) pronounced ‘Plumbers’ is a complete range of modular equipment utilising the PALS MOLLE attachment system. With a range of around 80 PLMRS items, some NSN’ed for immediate issue, the PLMRS system can cater for almost any user requirement.
The SPURTM continues and evolves the SPUR daypack system, with two main innovations. Firstly, the addition of a tried, tested and proven lightweight frame allows a higher volume equipment carriage capacity whilst maintaining comfort and heat dissipation. The frame is adjustable to allow the daypack to be positioned closer or further from the users’ centre of gravity as the situation dictates.
A lightweight hip belt and sternum strap can also be employed to ensure the pack maintains its position during high intensity physical activity.
The second innovation is the addition of PALS (Point Attachment LadderS) webbing to the outside of the pack allowing an extremely light weight low profile pack, or with pouches attached, to enhance load carrying capacity and make the daypack able to bear a mission specific load out. The PALS system utilised on the SPURTM is compatible with the entire PLMRS range, and most popular MOLLE and MALICE systems.
